Absolutely the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The batter is crispy, the fish is melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the chips are perfectly golden. Food was prepared fresh. The cod was piping hot with flaky flesh and good batter. I got a large, and it was indeed large. The chips were chunky and soft with a good firm exterior. Overall, one large cod and chips cost £13.30 which is about the going rate these days and there was enough food to feed two people, so I'm not complaining. Bonus points to the owner for being a top bloke and giving great service. I will be back 👍
